Hey there!
Hey there! I’m Shelly- wife, mom, and Georgia girl. I started Wander & Wildflowers as a space inspired by cottage gardens, beautiful places, and everyday living.
At the Heart behind Wander & Wildflowers
“Go touch grass.”
Last year, in a Bible study full of women in a similar stage of life, juggling life change and the coinciding stress, someone said something simple that stayed with me: “Get outside, sit still, and touch some grass.”
That simple advice stuck. Over the past year, it’s shaped how I live—choosing slower, more intentional days and spending more time outside, and noticing how it’s changed me as a wife, mom, and Believer.
I want that for you too. Step outside. Breathe deep. Feel more grounded. Enjoy simple, beautiful moments. And let’s create a beautiful life.

How It originally Began
Wander & Wildflowers began as a place to share outdoor-inspired travel—beautiful destinations, time spent exploring, and the simple joy of slowing down.
Over time, I realized I wanted that same feeling to show up in everyday life, not just while traveling. That love for slower, more intentional living naturally carried into my home, my garden, and the way I am trying to approach each season of life.
Today, Wander & Wildflowers is a space inspired by cottage gardens, beautiful places, and everyday living- where I share moments, inspiration, and the beauty found in simple days.
I’m figuring it out as I go, and you’re welcome to do the same. I’m so glad you’re here.

A Little More Personal
I’m married to my best friend. We met back in college at 19 and 21, and since then we’ve built a life full of adventures and raised two kids along the way. Now we find ourselves in the empty-nest season—which still feels a little surreal at times.
I’m a Georgia girl through and through—born and raised in the South, and I love it here. We live at the lake, surrounded by nature and wildlife, which has shaped the way I see everyday life in a really simple, grounding way.
For the past few years, I’ve been leaning into creating a home and life that feels more intentional—spending more time outside, enjoying each season, and noticing the small things that make life feel full.
I’m not an expert—just learning as I go, always drawn to that calm, outdoorsy, on-vacation feeling in everyday life. I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s figure this out together.
